Tuna Cakes – Recipe

These are tasty and are great for a light snack or paired with juice or a smoothie for lunch.

Ingredients:
*1/4 cup whole raw almonds
*1 can of tuna
*1 egg
*1 tablespoon chopped yellow onion
salt and pepper to taste
*1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
*1/4 teaspoon dill
*1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
*1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
*coconut oil

Directions
1. Chop almonds in food processor until they are finely ground
2. Mix all ingredients together
3. Form into 4 patties
4. Fry in a pan on the stove in coconut oil on medium-high heat for approximately 3 minutes each side or until browned.
